Enjoy Naflte's 4.0 -km loop trail located ar 79154 Bluewater Hwy, Goderich, ON Its a fairly easy trail great for hiking and walking . This trail is open year round.

There are a ton of different species of mushrooms and fungi that grow in and around Naftle's Creek. If its red or yellow  don't touch.  And in the summer be on the look for poison ivy and ticks .


The Maitlandwoods

Maitlandwoods

The Maitland Woods is a 3.4-km loop trail in Goderich, Ontario.Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 48 min to complete.

 With tons of boardwalks and corduroy sections this trail is a treat ,home to many species of animals and plants . Even a few teepees to play in. 



G2G RailTrail

THE TRAIL


The G2G RailTrail is a beautiful trail connecting Goderich to Guelph with many cyclists , hikers , and tons of free parking along the way. Gorgous scenery is a plus.


 EXCITING NEWS ! This spring there will be a detour route as The Menesetung Bridge goes under its resoration project . Excited to see the final project .

Be sure to check out Trail Way Cabins for an over night off the G2G or just a nap . Dont forget free parking along the way !

Built in the 1800s the G2G RailTrail was a way of transportaion.



Old Menesetung Trail

THE HISTORY

The Menesetung Bridge was built as a railway bridge in 1907. Beyond the bridge, it follows the abandoned CPR line to the Tomb of Tiger Dunlop, one of Huron County’s colourful historical figures.

THE TRAIL

Menesetung Trail is a  popular blue singletrack trail located in Goderich Ontario.This hike primary trail can be used both directions and has a moderate overall physical rating with a 21 m blue climb.

CHECK IT OUT

It takes an average of 1 h 37 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are April through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.


Goderich Millenium Trail

The Goderich Millenium Trail is maintained by the Maitland Trail Association.  Its about a 24m Estimated time Out & back . Enjoy this 5.3-km out-and-back trailin Goderich  Ontario.

This trail is great for hiking and walking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are June through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

The Millenium Trail has some interesting structures along the way , maintained by the Maitland Trail Association it's a beauty year round.

This 58-hectare upland forest is an area of steep valleys and fertile river bottoms that fronts the Maitland River. In the sheltered valley microclimates,

This 9.2km Length ,286m Elevation loop trail near Goderich, Ontario is abundant with many species of mushroom and fungi .
